A wonderful day to you as well Jessie! I know the vocabulary is really important. But I'm confused using the words between the English vocabulary and the British vocabulary. For example, disappoint is often replaced to 'let down'. We call it as idiom, doesn't it? Anyawy, take care and see u <Essay> I haven't have many chances to meet foreigners actually. So I can't remember there's something surprising to me. it might be a little surprising that they know several korean words or like korean foods. But I haven't experienced quiet surprising things ever that can make me shocked by curture differences or anything else. Maybe you have been surprising me for any kind of experiences or thoughts in the class. haha

Anyway, yes, we call it idioms. Idioms  are expressions whose meanings cannot be inferred from the meanings of the words that make it up.
Another example is,\" It\'s raining cat\'s and dogs!\" which means it\'s raining very hard.
Actually, there are American and British idioms.
Well, my advise is to just keep on using it. ^^
