However, in your sentence, the best expression is still \'go to sleep.\' If you remember our topic, we were talking about having difficulty sleeping and we were mentioning ways on how we can fall asleep easily. \'Go to sleep\' means to fall asleep, while \'get some sleep\' means to obtain something and that is sleep.
