Good afternoon, Teacher Marie. As you mentioned today, I'm worried about my poor pronunciation for a presentation next week. So, I'm going to practice it several times this weekend. Wish me luck! Today, Could you read and review some of my sentences? They are my comments about the book. However, I'd like to point out two things. Firstly, it's about the values' equivalence issue. In fact, it's common that trying to connect tradition values to modern values like human rights is criticized due to the values' equivalence issue. I'm not sure that their explanation got over this problem. Next Sumner was not that kind while he described Confucian values as resources of international human rights. We had to understand his claims without direct text quotations. I wonder if it will convince someone who don't have an exclusive knowledge of east­asian thoughts.
