Happy Thursday, [이름].

First of all I want to tell you that I am happy because you put a great effort in improving your English skills by simply doing your homework. I really appreciate that. Secondly, I can sense that you really are a responsible person since you make it a point to accomplish the things that will help you in the future. Lastly, 6 out of 10 is still a good score. I just want you to take note of the following so that you can further understand why you have committed mistakes on some of the items.

1. Such

SUCH + Nouns

such + a + (adjective) + singular noun + that + result
(It is common to put an adjective before the noun)

He is such a tight person that he even reuses his serviettes (table napkin). Christopher is such a handsome man that all the ladies want him. She had such a long speech that everyone stopped paying attention to her.

such + plural/uncountable noun + that + result

She has such big feet that she has to buy special shoes. Woodward Restaurant has such good food that it\'s always full of people.

2. So

SO with adjectives and adverbs

The teacher speaks so clearly that everyone can understand her. The sun was so strong that they got burned within 15 minutes.

Thank you so much [이름] and I will see you in class in a few minutes.
