Good evening, teacher. I'm so late. ㅠ.ㅠ I had a busy day. So, I feel exhausted. Anyway, see you tomorrow. subtitle: Why East Asian Political Thoughts? Between Eastern political thoughts and Western political thoughts, I chose to major in the former. There were two main reasons for this. First of all, I was fascinated by basic Confucian texts(四書三經) such as The Analects of Confucius(論語), Mencius(孟子) and The Classic of History(書經). After reading those texts, I realized that the explanations of Confucianism are still valid and meaningful in our modern times. Of course, we are living in a democratic society which is from western political thoughts. However, democracy is not perfect and has its discontent. We need some solutions to overcome these problems. I think that we can discover the possibility to vanquish those through the teaching of Confucianism.
