In other words, the usefulness of this study leads me to study East Asian political thoughts although it is unpopular in these days. Next, East Asian political thoughts is the field that Korean scholars can play a key role in the mainstream of the academic world. We are importing the knowledge of foreign political scholars to study politics, whereas the efforts to export the knowledge of our own scholars are not entirely satisfactory. To some extent, this results from the fact that we are not originators in most fields of politics. On the other hand, East Asian political thought is a relatively appropriate field that we can take the leadership compared to western scholars. Moreover, I think we are fully able to globalize our own research accomplishments through the efforts to communicate with foreign scholars.
