Happy wednesday Chalie!^^ I disagree with that idea. I've usually believed past is really important in life since I thought present always exists through past experience. Whatever the present is successful or not it is result of past and if people get something not enough, they can achieve better thing later through that experience. That will be their past. As for me, when I faced some problem I tried to recall if I had a similar experience with it before and if I had it was surely helpful to solve the problem. Similarly, I can not help giving an example history is definitely significant in human society. It is impossible to develop present without knowing what was happened in the past. So, what I mean is that this point can not be stressed too much.
