Hello, teacher.
I paid a total $1,100 yesterday in order to buy airline tickets to Cebu City.
The tickets are for my son and me.
I hope that my English would as much improve as I paid money.
Make a sentence or give an example situation using the following idioms about money:
1. break the bank
2. cash in on (something)
3. give (someone) a blank check
1. If you spend more money than you earn, it would break the bank soon.
2. When the MERS virus broke out this summer in Korea, some mask manufacturers tried to cash in on this situation. But many Korean people were upset because many of them produced low quality masks which were ineffective to prevent the MERS virus.
3. The CEO will give the vice chairman a blank check in case of his absence.
