I\'m relieved to know I\'m not the only one confused. ^^

Yes, I agree, pride is sometimes necessary. I think it helps us be aware of our self-worth when something becomes too much to take.

But to be boastful is what is dangerous. Sometimes, when I see someone who appears like a boastful person, I feel annoyed.

But then I realize, being boastful is his problem, not mine. So I just leave it alone.
