I would choose the former, being incredibly happy but only living for 50 years. Lots of philosophers in the West and East have thought what for human beings live. One of several answers is happiness. I think happiness is worth to exchange for a short life. However, the important thing is to try to be happy because we can't know how long do we live from now on.
