I think nuclear family would be more common within the next 25 years. The increase of nuclear families would be resulted in the decrease or extinction of the title of family member and relative such as aunt and uncle. Unlike English, Korean language has subdivided titles of family member and relative. However, as the type of family gets simple, many people don't have an opportunity to call some titles of family member and relative. In my son's case, he doesn't have an 'imo' who means one's mother's sister, so he hasn't called 'imo' yet. In conclusion, nuclear family would be a general trend after 25 years, and this would affect our use of language toward decreasing or eliminating some titles of family member and relative.
