I disagree that reading fiction is more enjoyable than watching movies. I think watching movies has many attracting factors like visual material and audio element. The biggest example would be what audiences see through the screen. That is characters in the movie. Their powerful acting always makes people focus on story while they are in the theater. And additionally directing and sound system will effect to them. Personally I prefer watching movies to reading fiction because of taste. On the other hand in reading fiction case, I should guess every unspecific scenes and characters while I read. Of course it can be fun, but watching movies is much easier and more attractive to figure out story to me. if I have a chance to know a story with both ways I will just watch the movie.

That is of course is the movie is based on a book.
