I guess part of the reason young people fail to respect the older generation is because they think they are too good for anything.
That is why I appreciate the Asian culture where the elderly are respected.
Whenever I watch movies from Hollywood, I get surprised at how they treat their seniors.
In my mind, it is strange to speak something rude to an elderly or even to look down on them.
But the young still have a lot to learn. ^^;
