Hello, teacher. I was happy to share the story about the movie, Sado. I will talk more about the movie instead of doing my homework. The story of the price, Sado is one of the popular historical contents in Korea. There are already a lot of dramas and movies about it. Most movies and dramas described King Young-Jo, the prince Sado's father as a cold-hearted father. In my opinion, this movie, however, seems to try to understand King Young-Jo. That's why this movie reveals that the prince Sado killed so many people. Other movies and dramas depicted the prince Sado as the reformer who wanted to abolish class of the time. They see the prince Sado's death was resulted from his reform-mined attitude by the conservatives of the time. However, those opinions are not right based on the historical records. He had been killed a lot of innocent people because of his mental illness. How could a mental patient make the country better?

Hi Kaylee! Thank you for explaining the story of Prince Sado further. I didn\'t know that he had a mental illness. The movie only hinted at his mental breakdown which was caused by everything he went through in the hands of his stern father. Moreover, he lost his beloved grandmother and his father had replaced his mother with a younger wife. I think anyone who would experience something as harsh and awful as that would probably lose their mind too. I know he did some terrible things, but it was not entirely his fault. His father should have shown him mercy and cared for him more, especially when he found out that he had some kind of mental illness. I guess I was too emotionally invested in this movie.
