Please, good luck to me. Sub-title : Studying Politics of Joseon in depth I have studied East Asian political thought, especially Confucianism since my master's degree course. Based on this training, I'm studying the relationship between political history and political thought in the 16th and 17th century of Joseon Dynasty. The reason why I have taken an interest in the politics of Joseon Dynasty is that Joseon was the long lasting political community which had lasted for 500 years, despite many crises such as Japanese Invasion of Joseon in 1592 and the Manchu war of 1636. I believe that studying politics of Joseon in depth not only help us understand the past and the present of our political community, but also provide meaningful implications for our future generations to solve their political problems.
