Hello, teacher. Please read and revies the text below. King Injo's regime started with his enthronement through the 1623 Coup, an unusual way of succession to the throne. Most earlier studies have a strong tendency to consider King Injo's Restoration as an inevitable consequence based on the fact that the main group of 1623 Coup had the academic inclination towards Neo-Confucian political idealism. In other words, the 1623 Coup can't be justified in Neo-Confucian terms. Such an inborn limitation of King Injo's regime presented the politicians at that timetime with two kinds of tasks for legitimizing King Injo's regime. One is that Joseon Dynasty must last for a long time after then, and the other is that King Injo's regime must leave behind remarkable achievements. In other words, even though the 1623 Coups was a usurpation of the throne at that time, King Injo's regime can secure its legitimacy through handing down Joseon Dynasty to posterity and accomplishing results.
