I also ask you to read and review my composition below.^^ It is strongly recommended for a small country to serve a great one in order to protect its own country, even if a great power treats a small one impolitely. The reason is that it can be expected to become a true royal sovereign(王者) when a small country dispenses a benevolent government to the people after securing his own country. On the other hand, if one has a great country he has only to expand his benevolent government to other countries. That is “serving a small country”. As widely known, Mencius started his campaigning for the Kingly way(王道) from the great countries such as Wei(魏), Qi(齊) and Song(宋). The reason why he did this should be found from the fact that Mencius believed that a great country’s Kingly way can lead to faster unification of a whole country than a small country’s Kingly way even though it is possible to unify a whole country regardless the size of one’s country.
