The free lunch policy for all students in Korea has payed off so far, albeit with a lot of nodi. Food is the most necessary among living necessities. In order to prevent poor people from going hungry, first of all, we should provide the poor people in famine with food and money. Many kinds of support programs are broadcast on TV, so we have to participate in them. My cell group in the church donates some money to Africa to save children's lives. Next, we need to teach them how to fish instead of giving the fish. We have to pay attention to activities of KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency). Its projects extend from an education to an agricultural issue. It has been teaching how to increase the agricultural products for developing countries. Lastly, developing countries have to try to improve better species of plants, prepare for irrigation systems, develop farm machines, and the like. I am confident all measures above are to help prevent poor people from going hungry.
