When I was a cadet in KMA, I had to take an examination in every class, every day. We called it "Daily," which I really hated. When I was a middle and high school student, I had to be tested my English ability by just reading and writing. Writing English was not to write an essay, but translate difficult Korean sentences into English. Tests and exams are indispensable for evaluating the level of students' achievement and improving their capabilities within a certain period. However, as I presented two examples at the beginning, I can't agree with some ridiculous exams which was given me a long time ago. Tests and exams are the extension of lessons, so they should be focused on reviewing and utilizing what students have learned so far. In addition, teachers have to make a lot of efforts to prepare for them.
