I am confused of the verb ‘give’ because I can’t understand which subject is matched with this verb.

First time I think it match with ‘The fact’, but if that is right, ‘give’ must become ‘gives’!

On the other hand, I have known the form of [be]+[past participle of verb]+[by]+[thing doing action], but I don’t know this form also applies to nuance! lol
