Give an example situation/incident when you told someone to "lend you his/her ear". I guess that I told someone to “lend you his/her ear when I talk about my special things. Or I talk about stressful things in daily. For example, when I see my friend and talk about my job, I often that expression to my friend. Those stories about the job are made of stressful things about co worker, partner company or boss.
