Not a few people are unaware that they are conducting their lives in a child mode than in an adult mode. The hardest part of being an adult is as follows. Firstly, it could be establishing and implementing goals. Adults establish goals and take the appropriate actions to achieve them. In this respect, they set up their priorities in life. In contrast, people living in a child mode often overact emotionally to events that are insignificant in the overall plan of their lives. Secondly, it could be constructive relationships. Adults seek constructive relationships whereas those who operate from a child perspective don't do that. Those who are remained in a child mode tend to lack equality and mutuality in relationships. Lastly, it could be non-defensiveness and openness. People who are emotionally immature tend to have defensive or angry reaction to feedback and to be closed to others. Making great friends and maintaining great friendships are one of the best ways to overcome the hardest part of being an adult.
