My favorite saying is: 'I heard the old, old man say "All that's beautiful drifts away, like the waters."' One reason why I like this saying is because it's so true. Every beautiful thing disappears at some point. It might be why those things are beautiful, because if every beautiful thing exists forever, the reason why it makes those things so beautiful disappears and it'd become common. The old man was right in his own way, but I think it might be good for some things to drift away like water, because I learned that human only appreciates things when it's drifted away. It's almost like we only know one thing's worth when it is finally gone. So I think the reason why I like this saying is because it's so true.
