I totally disagree with the idea that giving money is the best way to help the homeless people. First, many homeless would spend the given money on unnecessary things such as alcohol, cigarettes. I have seen the scene many time that homeless drunk alcohol in the street. Second, transitory money cannot solve the problem ultimately. Homeless spend all given money to buy food or something so it cannot make them deviate the poverty. Giving money is only a temporary solution. In order to give them new life, we should help them be able to live on their own ability. It is necessary to give them jobs or educations for getting a job. For example, there is a magazine in Korea that can be sold only by homeless. So, they can live with the money earned from selling the magazine. I think that giving money to homeless is somewhat needed because it lets them avoid right-now hungry. However, so as to help them sincerely, we should think the what is a ultimate solution.

Helo KOWN,

Thank you for doing your homework.

With more people suffering from homelessness, the general public may feel they wish to give cash to those sleeping rough.

According to Thames Reach from London, handling over money to beggars can have fatal consequences.

Most people begging are not individuals in temporary difficulties, but people who are dependent on a begging income.

Well, I agree with your opinion.

Easy money is an extreme attraction for the lazy; sitting around all day collecting spare money off of passers by.

With such an easy living to be made there where is the motivation for such a person to get themselves off of the street and into a secure job.

By giving money to these sorts of people, far from helping them you are encouraging them to be lazy.

Not only are you encouraging those who are homeless to say on the streets, but you are encouraging others to do the same.

People who think they have no where to go will think that there is a place on the streets for them.

They will think they can live on the streets before trying to sort their own problems out properly.
