I grew up spending a great deal of time in my hometown that was located in the countryside. Nowadays, differences between the city and the small town life have noticeably been reduced, but there still exist several things that we can't ignore. Big cities provide kids with a lot of cultural activities and quality educational opportunities offering diverse facilities such as museums, sports facilities, libraries, zoos and amusement parks. Big cities normally attract the majority of ambitious talent in any working field. That's why children to grow up in big cities could make diverse and smart friends who will help, encourage and compete each other throughout their lives. The children raised in big cities could easily become more shrewd than in small towns. Meanwhile, the children in big cities might be exposed to social irregularities, crimes, corruptions and violence that too naive and pure kids could not bear. Parents in big cities should enhance their kids' safety from juvenile delinquency, bullying, pollution and traffic. On top of them, surviving in big cities financially is not easy for parents including educational expenses of their kids. In fact, one of the best benefits for children to grow up in small towns is their emotional stability. So it is safe to say that parents should consider both smartness and emotional stability of their kids at the same time.
