I do not think it is disrespectful to argue with elders.
If I argue with them on some issues, I can learn their speaking skills.
My speaking skills will be better.

I do not think it is disrespectful to argue with elders. Compared to many young people, many elders are full of wisdom.

If I argue with them, they can enlighten me about certain issues which are not clear to me.

I can also learn from their debating and speaking skills which could make mine better.
