We need other people to learn about ourselves. It's not easy to have a whole new perspective about me if I don't communicate with other people. Other people can directly talk about us and help us to get a chance to think about ourselves. Even when we don't talk about us, we can still get an opportunity to understand ourselves by observing other people. For example, I hadn't noticed how the smell of hamburger remained strongly when I had it in a lecture room before a class started. After other person did same thing, I realized that everyone could smell the hamburger even if the person opened windows after she finished her hamburger. This is not that serious case but the same mechanism would work with more important subjects. If we don't interact with other people, we could be stuck into our own criteria. Communicating and seeing other people can be a healthy stimulation when we think about ourselves and try to improve ourselves.

Wow! The second week of October is almost over.
I can\'t believe how fast time flies.
Have you reached most of your goals for this year?
I do agree that sometimes, we need feedback from others to improve ourselves.
This is not to say that what they say should be our reality.
This is just a way of looking at the same things in different perspectives.
After all, what is true to one person can possibly be not true to others.
Anyhow, that is just my point-of-view.
I hope you\'re doing great.
See you again on Monday.
