We can learn something from every experience. However I don't think the amount of learning is proportional to length of experience. For example, studying for exam leaves something meaningful in students' lives. Even though the preparing period is painful and boring, students might learn how to endure that boredom. I personally don't think that a person who spends more time for that exam learns more than other students though. After a person spent certain amount of time for studying, that person already has realize how the life preparing exam is. Similar thing happens to office workers sometimes. If the job doesn't provide useful opportunities, the worker can't earn benefit from the job anymore. My conclusion is that we can learn from everything but not forever from same experience.
