In my opinion, listening criticism is generally better than ignoring criticism. Because humans are not perfect so there is always possibility that we can make mistakes. If we listen other people's opinion, it would help us to fix problems or find a better way than before. I don't think we should accept every criticism though. Some criticisms are not correct or even made with bad intentions. It's often not easy to distinguish healthy criticisms and unreasonable attacks. Therefore maybe people who do not listen criticism at all are better off than who listen criticisms because their feelings doesn't get hurt. However if people have ability to choose good criticism, they might be better off in the end since they can get a better result than before.
