I think parenting should occur when people can provide proper condition to children. The proper condition doesn't only mean enough money. Emotional support based on parents who have stable mind is also important. In many cases. marriage situation can give more caring environment to children. If both parents are alive and work, the family has higher chance of getting more money. However, the important thing is not the form of family itself but family fostering environment. Sometimes families don't work well like in the situation of severe poverty or domestic violence. I read an article saying children raised by happy single mother or father have better mental states than children who are raised in unhappy couple. I think that traditional type family usually has advantage to raise children but there can be exceptions.
