I think talent or genius plays the last important role to succeed. People usually say that hard working and persistence will bring success. This saying is generally right because to most people, just being persistent is not easy. Furthermore, the persistence guarantees certain level of success. However if two people put same amount of efforts, the last factor determining who can succeed more is talent. This sounds cruel but this is quite obvious especially in arts or sports area. I can't be like Van Gogh, Mozart or Usain Bolt even if I practice more than 12 hours a day because I don't have such kind of talent. However I still agree that being persistent is always important because people who achieve success not only have talent but also did their best and showed persistence. I think the best strategy to succeed is finding the right field which I have talent and work hard and persistently in that area.
