I agree that machine has changed many aspects about works. I also agree that labor, especially simple repeat work will be easily eliminated by machines. I don't think it's always a good thing because to some people, adjusting to changes is not easy and they will be jobless easily. I think machine will not eliminate all the need for skill but will eliminate certain kind of skill. I don't think that kind of change is always wrong or right though. In human history, new skills were invented all the times and working condition has been always changed. Of course to people who lose their jobs due to new skills and inventions, machines are not beneficial at all. In the point of bigger view, machines make human life more convenient and also create new jobs though. My conclusion is that machines change general environment so it's not easy to say machines eliminate skills or number of jobs.
