I agree that US can provide more opportunity than some countries. I even think some people can succeed more in US than here in Korea. However I don't think US always guarantee success to every people. US once had a reputation as a dream country. I think it came from the belief that people could get their own own rewards as many as they tried. However I don't think it applied to literally every people. The US dream about success was mainly for WASP in my opinion and I don't think it has not completely changed. US people still protest about racism and there are still hatred crimes. I don't think people get succeed as much as they tried if they are not WASP. Life in US could be still better if someone's original life was extremely hard in his/her own country. However it doesn't mean US society itself always guarantees better life than someone's own country and there are many variables determining how someone's social status would be in US.

Hello, [이름]!
Thanks for this great essay.
I truly appreciate it.
I think the grass on the other side is not always green or better.
When I was in college, my parents wanted me to get a job in the US.
I refused to follow what they wanted for me and carved up my own destiny.
I honestly think I made the right decision. :)
I hope you\'re doing great.
