I think nuclear energy is not safe and Korea should find other energy sources eventually. I agree that nuclear energy is relatively efficient. Some people say they are even more cleaner and less harmful to the environment then other energy sources. Their main basis is that nuclear power plants don't make smoke or dust like thermal power generation plants. Furthermore, nuclear energy's efficiency is relatively higher than other methods. However I don't think nuclear power plants can always be controlled perfectly. Even high technologies show weak points when severe natural disasters occur. If some problems happen in power plants, nuclear power plant will cause much severe damages than other kind of power plants. I know current Korea doesn't have other technologies which are more efficient than nuclear energy so it's inevitable using nuclear energy. However I personally think that it should be replaced into other energies eventually.
