It means, if something makes you unhappy, it would be better not to know it.

but I think knowledge makes people happy.
First of all, people with a lot of knowledge are different with sound, see, and feel.
For example, supposed some people saw the gallery of Claud Monet.
People with a little of knowledge are thought, It just picture
but people with a lot of people saw the picture,
they thought drawer of impressionist picture, and story of picture.
So I think, more knowledge better than ignorance.
