Well, I believe that in Asian culture(that includes your country and mine), women to take on a more serious role in raising kids and taking care of the family while men provide for the family needs. However, times are changing. We are learning and adapting a lot of the western culture. In which, both men and women share equal responsibilities in parenting. I like the modern way better. ^_^  It gives women more freedom and power in the family.
