Hello Jin Young. Thank you once again for this. I appreciate the effort. Yes, I think giving a polite refusal in the good A white lie is also necessary in some cases.

When situation where I have to excuse regarding that I can\'t attend is happened, I usually use excuse regarding family anniversary.

Although person who I\'m not intimate with invite me, if I tell them that family\'s anniversary will be that day, they don\'t ask me to attend an event anymore.

I think it seem to be best polite excuse when refusing little intimate people\'s request.

But, when intimate people ask me something, if I want to refuse these, I tell them reason for refusing a request frankly.

Although intimate friends of me ask me something constantly, when I refuse their request by frank reason, they understand my situation and are not sullen to me.
