Do you think that different cultures think about beauty differently?
Every student in Korea has seen a famous sculpture, Venus of willendorf in the school.
And teacher said, this woman in the picture was a standard of beautiful woman at that time(stone age).
But absolutely, she was not beautiful to me living in modern times.
Her body looks puffy, fat. So it looks to have a trouble to surviving.
However if we knew the circumstance at that time, we would say it makes sense.
As we know, almost people suffered insufficient supply of food including babies.
Then being fat would have been the most ideal body.
By this example, I want to say the beauty is different depending on era, area, circumstance.
