I don`t care about the types or ways of greetings. However, I felt annoying when someone acted rude at the first time of meeting. Greetings are usually made between people at first meeting. I tend to think the impression made in first meeting is the real his/her character. So I always try to make a better first impression and kindly greetings. But, sometimes, someone, I didn`t know what was happening to him/her either, has failed to make a good impression to me because of his/her rude attitude.
I think the attitude is matter, not the way of it.
