Here are my corrections for you:

There are some topics that we cannot say who is right and who is wrong, such as politics, economics, social issues, religion, etc.

In case of those topics, I would not avoid the argument but I normally let them know that you could be right and i could be right, too.

However, if these disagreements are habitually repeats, I usually give up on him or her because I am not patient enough to listen to the disagreements and let him or her change.
