I think \"accent in English\" has many things to do with birthplace. When I stay in Australia, I met a lot of foreign friends and they were also not native people. So there were many things talk about and I also talked about the accent. After talking about that I found that the birthplace affect to their accent obviously. But I also found that it can be getting better depending on how long they stay and live abroad. It means eventhough they have their own accent, they can be changed. It is so natural because all of them had lived in their countries and they were familiar with their own language. But, I think \"practice\" can change everything no matter the birthplace.
