There is an ideological concept called “The beauty of blank space” in Korea. If we apply this to our lives, it might mean we should do nothing and leave our life empty even for a moment. And recently in Korea, there is a growing trend of “Mung”. It means just stay still without thought.
Those things show us how important the rest (doing nothing) is. Doing nothing makes people feel free and comfortable. It can relax our mind and body and refresh us. We are humans, not machines. So, we can’ t work without rest. We will be exhausted. So, we need enough time to do nothing and get a good rest.
