There is a saying that "Childeren is 'Children'" It means all the children keep their naive and vulnerable mind with them regardless of how they look like. Some of those who're very ciritcal might say that teenagers are not children, and they are capable of making very big decisions in their life. Even though it sounds very persuasive, many study show that teenagers, ranging from age of 13 to 18, are showing many different patterns with those of adults in their delveloping stage. According to the studies of developing stage of teenagers, teenagers are more likely to regard friendship in their priority which lead them to gather in group. It indicates that they should be treated in other ways which are different with those of adults. The biggest motivation of the crime they commit might derives from these reasons; the desire to be recognized as a group member or chasing fantasy. So I say it is too harsh to judge teenagers by the standard of adults, because they're different with aduluts.
