Buddha’s birthday is an important day for buddhists. As I know, some people hold a lighting ceremony to celebrate Buddha's birthday. And the other people go to a picnic. This is same as christmas of buddhist Actually, I'm a christian. So I don't know how Koreans celebrate Buddha's birthday. There were several responsibilities in my house chores when I was a child. My mom made sure to tidy my room up. So I had to make bed every morning before I go to a school. She also couldn't stand messy room. So I had to put my toys away after finish playing. And I used to run my mom's errand to get some groceries like tofu or garlic from the store just around the corner. Finally, I used to shoeshine of my dad to get allowance once a week.
