I think that expectation parents have for their children is success.

Parents expect their children to grow up and to do something theirselves.

>> Parents expect their children to grow up and to do something for themselves.
And, If their children success, their parents would be relieved about the things that they are happy whenever they can do what they want.

>> If the children achieves success, their parents would be relieved and they would be happy that their children are able to do what they want whenever they want to do it.
