Leaning through experience is great. But It is hard to experience all of things. Also we don't have enough time and money to exprience. So I think that getting knowledge from books is more effective. For example, Though I didn't go all over the world, I already konw culthre and famous place of other country by lots of pictures and essaies. Also, I can learn cooking from books without taking a class in cookery. And I can accumulate a wide range of background knowledge such as sicence, music, history, and philosophy from reading. Therefore,I think knowledge gained from books is more important.
