How do you cheer up a friend if he or she is having a hard time finding a job after graduation?

There is no magic way to cheep up people who are in a difficult situation. There may be many words to comport those who are going through difficult times. However, I personally think that having real and heartfelt sympathy for them is better than a thousand words. We need to share their feelings rather than just saying good words. For the youth who is seeking a job, we need to give them practical tips that could actually help them get a job rather than vague advice. Your advice should be true, concrete and specific about exactly what needs to be done. “Be positive”, “Good luck”, “You will be fine”, “You are excellent” or “Everything will be going well” is just perfunctory and cursory. Gee, thanks. They are terrible. Advice that tells you what to do without bothering to tell you how to do it is utterly pointless. Before giving them advice, you need to spend time analyzing their problems and making an effort to give tangible solutions rather than just saying good words.
