How do you define success?

Every person has the different standard of success, and this is not able to quantify and measure the results that people exert effort in achieving their goals. Personally, I like to call ‘I succeed’, if I do anything, which I really want to be or do, with my own satisfaction. At this point, the problem might be the level of the satisfaction, whether it is decided by my pure mind or by a mixed complex including external values like reputations, material expectations, and social status. When I have been grown up, the meaning of success has been getting bigger, since these other elements came in my mind, and finally, I feel this is unachievable. So, nowadays, I am trying to re-focus on my internal voices and follow them. Though I do not have a job and get left behind from being rich and taking high position in a company. Nonetheless, I still cannot entirely escape being possessed from money and others’ views. Many a time, I compare my results with the others’ fruits and be disappointed.
