How do you feel about the use of animals for medical research

I often see the animals from the news which are used for medical research. The most common animals are mice because their reproductive rate is higher than other animals as well as they grow faster. In fact I haven\'t ever felt pity for them. However, a few months ago, I knew that dogs are one of the test animals, especially for the Beagle since they\'re gentle in character and follow people well. It shocked me. The problem is that the beagles which have already finished the test get sick or become handicapped. I think that the government should control and take care of the victim\'s life. and we must try to find the replacement of animals.
