How do you feel about Trump\'s strict immigration laws? Why?
학생이 쓴 원문
In my perspective, Trump’s immigration law not only detrimental to American economy but also violates America’s long-standing ideology. Firstly, many people believe that strict immigration law protects American’s job from foreigner. This is because, if hiring foreigners bring disadvantages to employers, they will be more willingly to hire American nationals. However, this is completely wrong. If companies have difficulty hiring right talent, they will be more willing to navigate market with loose immigration policy. This is what happened with New York Times when they move their Asian headquarters from Hong Kong to Singapore. Also, strict immigration policies go against American long-standing ideology, diversity. America has been acknowledged for cherishing diverse population and grew based on those talents. If they stop accepting diverse idea and talents, the growth of the country will be stalled.
